This southern favorite is one my family tin can never become enough of and at that place are never any leftovers. My grandmother, mother and aunts always made this recipe for family gatherings. Now I make it for everyone considering it's so easy to prepare and anybody loves information technology! —Elizabeth Williston, Thibodaux, Louisiana

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • i/ii cup butter, softened
  • 1 package (5.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 parcel (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • one cup confectioners' saccharide
  • one container (sixteen ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • Optional: Toasted chopped pecans and chocolate curls

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a big bowl, beat out flour, pecans and butter until blended. Press into bottom of a 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake until gold chocolate-brown, about xv minutes. Remove to a wire rack; cool completely.
  2. Brand chocolate pudding according to package directions; permit stand 5 minutes. In a basin, beat foam cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth; fold in one cup whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust. Spread pudding over foam cheese layer; peak with remaining whipped topping. If desired, superlative with additional pecans and chocolate curls.
